6th grade students participated in this year's EcoChallenge at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The event is a kick-off to the Fairchild Challenge. Through exciting, relevant project-based activities, students will research, create, design, and take action to help solve some of today's environmental problems. This year's middle school challenges will have students writing haikus, essays, and comic strips as well as creating videos and visual projects.
Today students explored three different activities: Scavenger Hunt, Pollination Creations and Recycled Retail...ask your child to describe each activity!
