Elementary Lit Fest

What an exciting morning!  Elementary Literature Festival was held at North Strabane Intermediate School today. There were over 120 students from Baldwin, Beth Center, Brentwood, Carlynton, Chartiers-Houston, Fort Cherry, McGuffey, Montour, Peters Township, Washington, and West Jefferson school districts in attendance. 

Lit Fest is a culminating activity for students who participated in literature study this year.  This year's selections included: The One and Only Ivan, Who Was Jane Goodall?, Jackie and Me, Who Was Jackie Robinson?, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Who Was Roald Dahl?.  Teams rotated through the following stations: Chain Game, Trivia,  Wonka Bingo, Jackie's Pentathlon and Puzzle/Snack...ask your child to tell you about them!

A special thanks to Mrs. Ceklosky, Dr. Dagen, Mrs. Newman, Miss Monides and my former students from the Middle School for spending the morning with us.  Your help was appreciated!
