North Strabane Intermediate School hosted a Creative Convention for identified gifted support students in grades 5 and 6 from Avella, Fort Cherry, McGuffey, and Trinity school districts. The Carnegie Science Center's traveling planetarium, a marshmallow construction challenge, an Earth Day themed trivia and challenge course as well as spontaneous questions were the creative thinking stations all students had the opportunity to explore. A very special thank you to our parent volunteers, Mr. Spallinger, Mrs. Kohlmeyer, Mrs. Frohnapfel, Mrs. Rush and Mrs. Katreeb!
