Seaperch Event at the High School

6th grade students got the chance to test their underwater ROVs at the Canon-McMillan High School pool today. Students practiced driving their remotely operated vehicles through an obstacle course.  After many weeks of constructing the robots students were thrilled to finally see them in action.  We discussed the real-world applications of such underwater robots...ask your child what they think about engineering  and how they could impact our world!

A special thanks to Canon-McMillan High School, Mr. Helinski and Mr. Haney for allowing us to borrow the pool for the day and for providing us with such a nice lunch!
